These narrational extracts were recorded by Andrew Morrison in his home studio to accompany a short documentary film that was recorded by a small group of Entertainment Technology students for the 'Managing Video Media Production' year two unit.  The documentary was filmed in May 2003, and the proposals for the asylum seeker's centre mentioned in these excerpts have since been shelved by the Labour Government.  As well as providing the voice-over for this film, Andrew also conducted many of the interviews of local residents, assisted in the editing and producing of the film, and carried out much of the initial research to find the related information and contacts involved.  To watch the full documentary visit the 'video' section of the main site by clicking here.
